1944 Ford GPW is said to have been acquired from the US military by the previous owner in the 1960s before being purchased by late dad in 1998. Who did the restoration work involved rust repair, a repaint, and rebuilds of the engine and transmission. The jeep is finished in olive drab green with military-style graphics and wears a green canvas soft top as well as a fold-down windshield. An axe, shovel, jerry can, and canvas bucket are affixed to the exterior, and the seat cushions are trimmed in green canvas. Power is supplied by a 134ci inline-four fitted with a single Carter carburetor, while shifting is through a three-speed manual transmission linked with a dual-range transfer case. Further equipment includes 16″ steel wheels, Dualmatic-style manually locking front hubs, and a rear pintle hitch. Excellent running condition
